Call MeEmail Me

I'm a designer, educator, artist, and relocating to Orlando from Chicago.

Extensive experience in special education as a teacher and manager taught me a great deal about human conditioning, accessibility, user flow, and progress monitoring. I was inspired to learn accessibility design when I was frustrated that many day to day struggles in education could be minimized if defining problems and user perspectives was prioritized. I learned that asking WHY is your greatest power!
Working in accessibility compliance has given a me brain that will always consider the liabilities of a system or process, and I've learned through *painful* trail and error that a thorough understanding of regulations and risk analysis is worth more than gold.  Real world solutions take into account nuanced requirements, obstacles, and strengths.
I swoon over maximalism, surrealism and my cats, of course. You'll find me shooting pool, fan-girl-ing over my favorite DJs, panicking about climate change, reading (and not finishing) books, and building my small business in my free time.
